FAQ

Common Questions

Which plug do I need for RV shore power?
Most North American RVs use TT-30P (30A 120V) for smaller rigs and 14-50P (50A 125/250V) for larger ones with two air conditioners. The pedestal socket at the campground determines which cord you need.
Can these cords be used for Level 2 EV charging?
Yes. 14-50P and 6-50P are the two most common Level 2 EVSE plugs in North America. The cord must be sized for continuous duty, so the conductor gauge is selected above the nameplate current, not at it.
Why is the conductor copper rather than CCA?
At 30-50A a copper-clad aluminium conductor would need a larger cross-section to stay within temperature rise limits, which defeats the weight and cost advantage. These assemblies use stranded copper.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our MOQ is flexible - trial orders start from as low as 50 pcs.
